Formulation screen
Pharmaterials have 96 well plate reading Raman microscopy and transmission powder X-ray diffraction with robotic dispensing.
This allows a range of experiments to be carried out using either the 96 well plate format, or small scale individual experiments, but always being economical on API need.
The benefits are speed and low material use.
The solubility and lipidic formulation screen
This format allows co-solvent and lipid based formulation components to be studied to assess the solubility of an API, and the potential of various formulation options.
The amorphous dispersion screen
This format allows polymer and excipient (e.g surfactant) combinations to be tested to assess the ability to make amorphous dispersions, the relative extents of dissolution in buffer and the stability of the dispersions on accelerated storage – all using very small quantities of api.
Our early phase formulation screen is the first stage addition to the developability screen and sets you on the route to pre-clinical and clinical formulation with the information you need for successful rapid development.
Pharmaterials: state-of-the-art instruments, combining screening of physical form with formulation development.
