Pharmaterials have continued their investment in inhalation services. The latest addition is a state-of-the-art machine to allow filling of capsules, or blisters, for inhalation during the manufacture of clinical trials materials.
Professor Graham Buckton said "Pharmaterials provide an excellent service ranging from materials science, including physical form optimisation and amorphous content determination, through formulation and analytical development and into clinical product manufacture. This is carried out in our purpose built facility in Reading UK. This filling machine extends our DPI capabilities from small scale into large scale manufacturing of inhalation product." |
