This year, the theme of the renowned Amorph 2006 conference was 'the assessment of molecular approaches to understand the properties of amorphous solids, and whether this provides effective guidance and insight into the control of (macroscopic) chemical and physical stability of amorphous food and pharmaceutical solids'.
Pharmaterials was pleased to be recognised as a leader in this field and was asked to give an oral presentation detailing internal research findings in understanding the physcial and chemical propereties of amorphous materials.
Dr Ameet Ambarkhane, Principle Research Scientist at Pharmaterials gave the talk entitled, 'The Process of Aging and Crystallisation in Amorphous Solids'.
