Dr Cristina Donini, Preformulation Lab Head for Merck Serono’s internal R&D business, said "We are very pleased to have successfully completed the implementation of salt and form screening in-house. Thanks to the seamless collaboration with Pharmaterials’ scientists, their exceptional expertise in solid-state characterization and, in general, drug substance physical forms, we were able to set-up and fully implement this technology in just a few months. It is now effectively applied to our advanced projects as a routine activity."
