Pharmaterials purpose built facility

Pharmaterials occupy a state of the art facility, designed and fitted out to their specific requirements and located with excelelent road, rail and air links in Reading UK.

The building was occupied in February 2009 with GMP manufacture operational now operational with MHRA approval.

Professor Graham Buckton, Chief Executive of Pharmaterials said “This is a very exciting time for Pharmaterials.  As a company we are now able to offer full development and manuafacture starting when the API has been synthesised and taking the project through to in house clinical trial manufacture.   We started sharing a lab in the School of Pharmacy, University of London with no instrumentation of our own, we have come a very long way since that time. This is our third move and provides room for expansion for many years to come. We now have state-of-the-art facilities for polymorph screening / salt selection, physical testing, preclinical, phase one and inhalation formulation, stability testing  and will soon open our GMP facility.  Our patent protection and problem solving work continues to thrive.  We have an excellent staff and can provide high quality, tailored responsive contract services to our customers. This new building is a major move forward for our rapidly growing company.”

The facility is based in Reading with easy access to the motorway airport and London Heathrow.  Expandable to 50,000 sq ft this allows for continued expansion of the company for years to come.
