Chris Kirby joined Pharmaterials in 2004 as Director of Formulation Development. Chris has 25 years of extensive experience within the drug delivery field including liposome and aerosol technologies. Chris was Principal Research Scientist for Cortecs Ltd. and previously was responsible for microencapsulation in the department of enzymology and biotechnology at the BBSRC Institute. Chris is responsible for the Formulation Custom Research service as well as developing new in-house proprietary research programmes.

In June 2008 Chris became Senior Director of Research in Pharmaterials and will lead the Company wide research effort, in support of our in house IP and continuous service improvements.  Chris will continue to provide support to the formulation studies within Pharmaterials.
